How it works
01
Name the project

Optional, but it labels the printed sheet and your exports. Set it on the opening screen or here in Settings.

02
Point and shoot

Every photo is saved with its GPS position and compass bearing burned into the image, plus a running number — field-001, field-002 — that never resets.

03
Save to your phone

Photos are held as you shoot and saved as a set, so nothing interrupts you. Every 10 shots you'll be offered a save — tap it, then tap Save Image in the iOS sheet to put that batch in your camera roll. You can also tap Save photos in Settings › Photos at any time, change the interval, or switch to saving each shot as you take it. Held photos aren't in your camera roll until saved.

04
Check the map

Every located capture appears as a numbered pin with a cone showing which way you faced. The number on the pin is the number on the photo. Tap a pin to review or delete it.

05
Sleep the camera

Walking between shots? Tap Sleep to switch the camera off and save battery. Position and bearing keep tracking, so you're ready the moment you wake it.

06
Print or export

Settings › Print gives you the map and a contact sheet of the photos — preview it before printing. For coordinates and bearings as data, use the CSV export in Settings › Data.

Everything stays on your device. No account, no cloud. Back up from Settings › Data if a set matters — phones can clear browser storage if the app sits unused for a long time.

Preview shows the actual sheet on screen before printing. Photos print from stored thumbnails, kept for every capture. Coordinates and bearings are burned into each photo and included in the CSV export.
Data
JSON is the full backup — the whole workspace (captures + settings) in one file, restored through the same load path. CSV is a spreadsheet deliverable. Photos aren't in the backup; they save to your device on capture.
Deleted
Danger
Removes the map history and resets numbering. Photos already saved to your device are not affected.
